Sending out the link about the closing of Campus McDonald's has elicited replies from people I haven't heard from in a long time and set an avalanche of memories in motion. I'm posting what has come to me. A WIKI would probably work better, but this is the best I could do.

Wow! I had no idea about the closing. I have been out of touch for so many years. It was nice to read all of the messages. When I came back to Columbia a couple of years ago I took my kids around town and one of the first stops was the McDonalds on campus. I told them stories of sleding on the golf course on the bun trays (poor college students couldn't afford a real sled). They were amazed when I talked about the spades tournaments, softball games, picnics and float trips...they thought Mom's were boring.
